Administrative Assistant - Office Management
COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
knippershelbig is a multidisciplinary team of structural and façade engineers, with offices in Stuttgart, New York and Berlin. We plan, develop, and design a diverse range of innovative structures and building enclosures: educational institutions, residential buildings, and office blocks; museums, bridges, and stadia; airports, public artwork, and sculptures.
DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will be managing the office routine of a small German engineering studio (ca. 10 employees) in Downtown Manhattan (FiDi). The position is part time (3 or 4 days per week).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In general, the responsibilities of the candidate can be summarized in office organization (office equipment and supplies, office maintenance, file/scan bills and receipts, coordinate travel and M&E expenses, manage subscriptions and contracts), coordination and communication (manage general E-mail folder, answer phone calls, travel and hotel booking, introducing new employees, coordination with HR)
REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should be motivated and friendly, with strong communication and organization skills. Fluent English language skills required; German language skills preferred. Past experience in office management or administrative assistant preferred.
