COMPENSATION: $1800/month START DATE: Fall 2019  until end of February/March 2020

INTERNSHIP WITH GERMAN AMERICAN EVENTS, LLC.: EVENT ORGANIZERS OF THE CHRISTKINDLMARKET CHICAGO

• The intern will gain experience by helping to organize one of the world's largest holiday markets outside of Germany. Interns will primarily assist with activities related to event planning and coordination, for example organizing entertainment for the market (choral groups, dance troupes, etc.) and performing important administrative tasks.  Interns will also assist with some event marketing activities such as media outreach.

• The intern will focus on pre-event planning and administration as well as sponsorship acquisition. In November and December, the intern will help on site at the Market and at the on-site office handling customer relations, sales and vendor administration.  For more information on these events, please visit www.christkindlmarket.com
