    The GACC South is representing this retained search for a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - AGRICULTURE located in Charlotte, NC. With the development, production and sale of drive systems for greenhouse, stable and glass construction (as well as for lifting technology), Lock Inc. is a company of quality and innovation leaders for the most diverse areas of application for their customers.     Responsibilities:

    • Ability to build up long term productive relationships with existing and potential customers and their distributors and/or clients
    • Increase revenue and profit by developing new customers and by increasing sales to existing ones.
    • Address different levels (Engineering, Tech staff, Buyers, Sales etc.)
    • Provide technical support to OEM and distributors in the territory
    • Provide application solutions and share technical product knowledge with clients and prospects alike
    • Generate weekly sales reports and use the existing CRM system to keep on top of clients, quotes, subjects talked about during past visits, products shipped etc.
    • Prepare quotations - stay on top of quotes and report on success rate
    • Establish yearly sales budgets on a timely basis
    • Discipline to report weekly as per company guidelines

    Requirements:

    • 5 + years professional experience and an excellent understanding of technical products sold B2B
    • AS, BS or BA degree (BS Degree - Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred)
    • A track record displaying loyalty and integrity
    • Self-motivated
    • Presentation skills to promote the company's' product range to individuals or groups
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Committed to travel 50% of the time in North America (US / Canada)
    • Native German speaker not a must but nice to have
    • U.S. work authorization

    START DATE: Q3-Q4 2020, depending on COVID-19 developments

    SALARY: Competitive with Benefits

    LOCATION: Southeastern Region USA with 50% travel in North America (USA/Canada)
