    SUMMARY OF ROLE: 

    The HR Generalist will be a key team member in bringing our people and talent strategy to life, while making the GetSetUp employee experience one that sets a new standard. This role will champion diverse aspects of best HR practices, reporting directly to the Vice President of People & Talent. THIS IS A 100% REMOTE, Full-Time exempt role. Working across time zones and cultures, at GetSetUp, we rely on multiple tools to stay in close touch (Slack, Zoom, phone) and for this role we are open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL exhibit strong decision-making skills with a high level of interpersonal savvy, discretion, attention to detail, strategic prioritization capabilities and project management skills. Top candidates will be comfortable managing ambiguity, and can anticipate where support may be needed.

    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY include administrative and process support for: onboarding, off-boarding, employee engagement, training programs, recognition programs, career development plans, policy creation and maintenance, and innovative culture initiatives in an exciting fast paced start-up environment.

    This role provides support for employees and contractors spread across 10 different countries, with a FOCUS ON THE U.S., AUSTRALIA, AND INDIA.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Provide exceptional administrative service & support for all areas of the employee life cycle as, including recruitment, pre-boarding (offer letters), onboarding, new-hire orientation, career development, recognition, exit interviews, and off-boarding processing

    Support recruitment efforts including sourcing, coordinating and maintenance of Applicant Tracking System - Rippling

    Responsible for maintaining accurate employee data, compliance & documentation in HRIS & EOR systems - for both W2 employees and U.S./International contractors

    Plan and coordinates employee training & wellness events

    Ad hoc reporting as requested, including employee information and data, etc.

    Review, edit and maintain job descriptions

    Generate unique ideas & modern approaches to drive engagement

    Identify potential gaps and areas for improvement in HR processes and proactively

    develop solutions to improve them

    Operate with a high degree of confidentiality, autonomy, trust, accountability,

    providing HR guidance as a trusted advisor when appropriate

    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

    3 + years of progressive experience in Human Resources

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education, training

    and experience

    Possess strong time management skills and a keen ability to handle multiple priorities

    High attention to detail, accurate, organized, and proficient in professional communications         

    Be a self-starter and collect and analyze data, as well as problem solve in a fast-paced

    environment

    Experience with full-cycle recruitment and all areas of the employee life cycle 

    Must possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures used to proactively develop strategies designed to improve the business and see hidden problems

    Keen ability to learn quickly and learn through experience

    Experience with international employees and contractors is preferred 

    Nice to have:

               Experience with the following software: Rippling, Slack, and Notion

               Experience working with EOR/PEO 

               Degree focus on Human Resources Management or related field

    COMPENSATION

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $53,000-$76,000 annually, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at GetSetUp, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the FULL base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package and time off (more information on benefits listed below).
