Marketing & Social Media Manager - Atlanta, GA (Travel to Griffin, GA Required)
Join our Giada Botanica team as we prepare to launch our indoor plant shop and nursery. As our marketing and social media manager, you’ll create content, manage social channels, manage client acquisition, run marketing campaigns and manage an ecommerce site. As a new business, your role will cover a wide range of marketing, social media and admin tasks and responsibilities. This position is based out of Atlanta, Ga with two days travel to Griffin, Ga required (gas reimbursed).
Your Responsibilities:
Tiktok
Create content using a mix of organic/original and trending sounds, voice over, original content you shoot, greenscreen, etc. Manage and post following a content schedule you will create
Weekly capture of new content on site in Griffin, Georgia
Engage with customers and followers, respond to comments
Go live for selling + live Q & A at the greenhouse with greenhouse manager weekly
post relevant, organic comments on videos of relevant community members
Create + manage sales funnel to website/links, report data
Use best practices such as: hook, CTA, funneling
Use tools and subscription services to stay up to the day on trends
Create posts with photos and videos (photos posted as video format). Manage and post following a content schedule you will create
Create and post reels (these can be repurposed from Tiktok)
Create stories to promote new posts, push out plant news and tips, etc.
Create + manage sales funnel to website/links, report data
Engage with customers and followers, respond to comments + DMs
Keep up to date with general business information
Engage in relevant community groups (plant groups, etc)
Paid marketing
Marketing campaigns
Source social media and search engine marketing contractors and work with them and a graphic designer to create assets and run paid campaigns
Create reports on campaign performance
Manage new client acquisition and sales generation
Website
Maintain website and make updates as needed (woocommerce, wordpress)
Manage relationship with local photographer on product shoot days
Upload photos and product descriptions for new products
Email marketing
Maintain email marketing lists
Create and send out marketing emails
Track + report analytics
Other social channels
Pinterest, Linkedin
Local events + pop ups
Find + book relevant pop up and event opportunities to attend
Source decor + items needed to attend festivals, pop ups, etc
Handle logistics, set up for and attend events/pop ups and represent the brand and lead generation
Blog
Source + manage ghost writers, post content to website + marketing emails
Admin
Other related admin as needed
In summary- you will be responsible from a start up phase for creating an engaged customer base and driving revenue using the above strategies. This list is not exhaustive, but is a good starting point for you to have an idea of the position.
Required experience:
At least 2 years of experience creating original content for and managing the following social channels with growth: Tiktok, Instagram
At least 2 years of experience creating and leading marketing campaigns, hiring contractors, and tracking and reporting analytics
At least 1 year of experience managing a an ecommerce website
At least 2 years of experience with responsibility for driving ROI and proven lead generation to sales
Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience working in digital marketing
Interest in or knowledge of indoor plants
Experience with events (sourcing, planning, representation, set up)
Details of the position:
Salaried, 70k with full benefits
2 days on site at greenhouse in Griffin, Georgia required (mileage reimbursed)
Some weekend and evening work (Lives, events/pop ups)
