    Gibson Abrasive Equipment is looking for a Customer Service and Part Sales Coordinator for our Indianapolis, Indiana location.     POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    THIS IS NOT A CALL CENTER POSITION. WE SELL PARTS AND SERVICE IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING.

    • Assist in answering the telephone

    • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller

    • Processing customer orders

    • Maintaining contact with customers concerning open orders

    • Quoting parts and/or service to customers and following up at a later date

    • Working with Engineering and/or purchasing on established orders or quoting information needed

    • Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email or fax timely

    • Process RMA’s (customer returns) in a timely manner and follows up timely

    • Daily spreadsheet reports

    • Attend daily production meeting

    • Solicit sale of additional services or products

    • Maintain cost and list prices on parts

    • Update price list yearly

    • Update customer information in the customer service database

    • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies

    • Work on special short-term projects to offer customized support for new products or products at end-of-life

    • Monitor the customer satisfaction levels and develop methods for raising them

    ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School education or equivalent

    • One year’s experience in Customer Service/Sales

    • WORK EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel)

    • Pleasant telephone voice/manner

    • Ability to operate simple office equipment

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    HOURS ARE 7:30AM TO 4:30PM WITH A 1 HOUR LUNCH

    DRESS CODE IS BUSINESS CASUAL

    You should be proficient in:

    • High School / GED

    SALARY INFO:

    $23 - $26 / HR
