SCR Civil Construction LLC is currently seeking a Shop Mechanic for our Richmond, Tx office located near the Houston, Tx area. **** As a Shop Mechanic, you will support daily operations by keeping heavy mobile equipment, trucks and tools in good operating condition in order to meet production needs.

SCR was formed in October 1986 with the purpose of providing high quality highway and bridge repairs and roadway maintenance to local and state government entities. For over 20 years, SCR has been a leader in this market in Texas and continues to grow using innovation and experience. **

Job responsibilities to include but not limited to:**

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of company trucks, equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, gasoline engines and diesel systems.
• Operate and have working knowledge of a wide array of complex equipment.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work after hours and weekends if needed.
