POSITION SUMMARY:

The Staff Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable hourly talent for the organization. This role must model to all employees the Gibsons Restaurant Group Core Values of Hospitality, Quality, Value and Family.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

●        Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization

●        Assists with job posting and advertisement processes including job boards, social media, college boards etc.

●        Creates content such as flyers, IG postings, FB materials to advertise job openings or job fairs

●        Handles the administrative duties of all immigration processes related to the hiring of hourly employees

●        Screens applications and resumes and selects qualified candidates to send to hiring managers.

●        Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials when necessary

●        Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies

●        Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions

●        Becomes an expert in company ATS screens and tracks all hourly applicants

●        Assist applicants with application issues and new hires with onboarding issues

●        Assists with onboarding of hourly new hires, including form i9 process

●        Run weekly and monthly reports for new hire and termination data

●        Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Bilingual required- Spanish

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics

·         Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles

·         Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

·         Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

·         Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment

·         Experience in the administrative processing of Immigration/Visa programs

·         Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems

·         Proficient with Google Suite, Formi9/Everify, Paylocity (similar payroll/onboarding system), Canva, ATS knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience in the restaurant industry, preferred

·         1-3 years in an hourly recruiting role for a multi-location entity preferred

·         Restaurant industry experience a plus
