    About The Opportunity

    At Gideon, we are always on the quest for exceptional leaders! Right now we are considering candidates to manage the day-to-day business and academic activities of our learning centers. As an Assistant Director, your focus is to oversee daily operations, provide superb customer service that leads to all students in our center having an exceptional experience each day and to engage in marketing events at the center, schools or complimentary businesses.

    ASSISTANT CENTER DIRECTOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Assistant Center Director reports to the Owner (Center Director), and is responsible for meeting revenue, operations, and marketing goals at each of our centers through marketing, generating new business, retaining existing business, and managing and developing part-time staff.

    GOALS:

    Manage to meet this month's revenue, expense, operations, and marketing goals. Meet weekly with Center Director to discuss goals and the action plans to meet them.

    Manage employee schedules and conduct weekly and monthly meetings with part time staff to discuss goals and the action plans to meet them. Conduct daily meetings with part-time staff about daily activities. Set short- and long-term goals for each part-time staff member. Provide on-going feedback to improve performance and meet goals.

    Manage daily center operations involving student schedules, progress and parent conferences.

    Develop additional revenue streams through partnerships and additional programs.

    STAFF:

    Manage, train, and evaluate all other part-time center staff.

    Participate in teacher meetings.

    Follow appropriate personnel procedures and maintain accurate personnel records for all other part-time center staff.

    Insure that center staff follows appropriate personnel procedures and maintain accurate personnel records for part-time center staff.

    Maintain a high level of staff morale. Minimize staff turnover.

    OPERATIONS:

    Offer students the best education possible.

    Monitor, program, and reprogram student instructional programs.

    Assess new students and maintain student files/binders.

    Review, or manage the review of, each student's instructional program at least once per month.

    MARKETING/SALES:

    Under the direction of the director, develop marketing and advertising plans for growth of each center. Meet marketing goals, which include developing positive relationships with school personnel, increasing our center’s presence in the community, and increasing inquiry volume.

    Prepare for, conduct, and follow up after, professional contacts, student-focused school visit and event-focused school visits, PTA and parent workshops, and visits to businesses, community groups, and libraries; and maintain appropriate records. Distribute public relations materials to schools and events.

    Speak with students and parents before, during, and after instruction. Discuss student progress with parents during conferences and informal waiting room meetings.

    Request periodic Google reviews and feedback from parents.

    A four-year degree, preferably in education, business, management, entrepreneurship, or a related field

    The ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

    An enthusiastic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality

    Previously managed/run education center

    Bachelor's (Required)

    Preferabbly in education, buisiness, management, entrepreneurship, or a related field.

    Pay: Market Rate Earn additional commission based on revenue/sale target

    Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
