GigSmart's 2-sided platform, Get Workers and Get Gigs, connects businesses and residential users looking for labor with local workers. Available in all 50 states, GigSmart serves the construction, manufacturing, food service, delivery services, transportation, retail, customer service, and professional services industries.

    This is a part-time weekend position eligible for a bonus structure. This is a remote role. You must be available to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday each week. The hours of the role are 9:00 am - 6:00 pm PST daily, resulting in 24 hours per week.

    This role will report to the National Sales Manager.

    Job Description

    As a Weekend Business Support Representative with GigSmart you will be responsible for driving engagement with businesses on the GigSmart Get Workers platform. You will do this by handling both inbound and outbound calls with users on our platform. This individual will be enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to think outside of the box to solve challenges. This individual plays a key role in achieving our ambitious growth objectives and must be goal and team-oriented. This role will predominantly engage with our business users as well as occasionally engage with Workers on the platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Produce high activity daily via phone, email, and text messaging to drive business experience and improve engagement
    • Collaborate with the sales team daily to drive gig completion stats
    • Drive increased business engagement through effective questions, conversations, and ongoing relationship management
    • Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
      • Source applicants to back-fill gigs as a result of worker no-shows or cancellations
      • Drive gig fill rate by sourcing workers for open gigs to exceed client requirements
      • Complete approval calls for new business accounts on the platform
      • Communicate with REQs as needed to discuss staffing needs
      • Monitor the inbound sales phone queue for voicemails and respond as necessary

    Skills and Competencies

    • 1+ years of customer service experience
    • Proficient with Hubspot or a similar CRM
    • Resiliency and the ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • You have an unwavering positive attitude, a strong drive for results, and can easily handle ambiguity

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

    $21.50/ hr
