THE OPPORTUNITY

Assists Engineering, Distribution, Maintenance, and Safety teams by gathering, sorting, verifying and documenting information from various systems and departments on a regular/daily basis. Verifies and maintains information to be used for performance tracking, cost analysis, productivity analysis, and incentive pay calculations.

THE ROLE

• Coordinates data collection from Labor Management (LM) system for all departments. Runs LM reports on a daily basis. Summarizes direct and indirect labor hours. Provides efficiency reports to DC Operations team and weekly incentive pay calculations to Payroll department for processing.
• Collects production sheets from DC department supervisors for processing incentive performance information.
• Verifies LM employee punch detail information (LM Time/Attendance) against LM daily performance transactions for each department for positions that are eligible to receive incentive pay. Communicates errors to appropriate supervisor for correction.
• Calculates daily/weekly incentive pay by reviewing transactions and correcting processing errors as needed. Communicates abnormal percentages to Engineering department for further review.
• Enters incentive data to calculation spreadsheet for weekly gap time calculation. Graphs and reports weekly/monthly trends per department.
• Maintains eligible employee incentive data provided by Payroll department. Updates employee weekly incentive reports.
• Works directly with distribution center director, managers, and supervisors to maintain accurate LM reporting.
• Provides accurate and consistent reporting data to appropriate departments and/or end users, to include:
  • Maintains cartons processed by date metric sheets and graphs for DC
  • Reports low performance incentive employees to DC Operations team on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Provides regular incentive pay and performance reports to DC Operations team.
  • Provides summary reports to appropriate stakeholders as needed. (i.e. direct labor, indirect labor, unmeasured hours, gap time, total hours worked, cases, pallet moves, replenishment, etc.).
  • Enters and maintains new start entry into LM system and barcode creation.
• Maintains accuracy and ensures data integrity, consistency and confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• Associate Degree and 3-5 years of experience

ATTRIBUTES

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Etc.)
• Experience with a full-functional computerized Order Management System such as JDE preferred
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus for extended lengths of time
• Strong organization and prioritization skill needed
• Ability to assimilate information rapidly and effectively
• Must be able to work independently and to self-manage coordination of duties
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
• Experience within a manufacturing company supplying product to Retail Customers preferred
• Hearing required in order to hear instructions, communication with customers via phone, safety warnings, etc.
• Vision required to operate a keyboard and to complete required data entry
