Associate with 2 - 6 years of Employment & Labor experience with a desire to join a team of employment law specialists representing some of the largest employers in Massachusetts.

Assist Employment and Labor law group with a team-based, client-focused approach to representing clients collaboratively with teams of lawyers, paralegals and staff who work together to provide clients with the best, most comprehensive, seamless representation. Looking for a collaborative Associate to join the team.

EXPERIENCE

• Reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and drafting employment contracts, termination agreements, settlement agreements, employment releases, labor contracts, and other employment and labor contracts and related documentation
• Litigating employment cases, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour matters representing employers, large and small, in employment disputes
• Taking and defending depositions on often complicated employment and labor matters
• Providing a business-focused, creative and client- centric, problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business impact
• Conceptualizing and articulating pragmatic/creative counseling and advice to clients
• Analyzing, addressing, and providing legal advice to a cross-functional team of lawyers in all practice areas
• Solutions to complex employment problems
• Sound legal judgment, initiative, and versatility
