    About Us: Hair's Talent is an East Haven, Connecticut-global based salon that caters to men and women wanting our Curl Reformer / GinaCurl. Clients travel from all over the world for the GinaCurl, an innovative, easy-to-maintain, healthy curly hair chemical service. The owner, Gina Rivera has been in the industry for over 40 years and has developed an impressive following for her technique. We are looking for someone that can give us in salon hours Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 8:30am - 6:00pm. Participate in weekday/weekend online meetings when necessary. - Willing to put in some hours during the weekend when necessary. They also possess a strong desire to work in a-collaborative, fast-paced environment and are excited to play a pivotal role in supporting Hair's Talent and GinaCurl. We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and execution-focused Influencer marketing strategist to oversee our social media as well. Someone who can assist with low and high-level salon management operations, is highly motivated and creative, and speaks and dresses professionally. Reliable: Someone who shows up to work on time, who consistently can follow instructions to a "T", and completes their work with strong attention to detail. Trustworthy: Can be trusted with confidential information, payment processing access, client records, brand information, various account access. GENERAL DUTIES Answer phone.-Educate clients about the salon's services and products.- Greet and check-in clients/guests and ensure clients have an amazing experience in the salon.-Up-sell hair care products and our services to clients in-person and over the phone.-Order and stock salon inventory.-Order and occasionally pick-up client and team meals.-Manage client appointments (e.g. book and confirm appointments via phone and email, collect and follow up on deposits received/outstanding, etc.).-Organize client emails and digital photos.-Take before and after photos of clients, gather client testimonials (in writing and via in-person video), capture clients in-salon and behind-the-scenes salon work for social content.-Light filing and client paperwork management. -Develop strategies to promote our course.-Create social media advertisements content for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.- Write, proofread, and edit content for webpages, blog posts, and email marketing.--Great computer skills are a must, as well as written and verbal communication skills.-Experience in advertising and/or social media management, preferably in a similar industry.-Previous experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.-Photography and/or graphic design experience.-PR experience a plus.-Candidate needs to knows how to reach out to bloggers and Influencers and call on. -Traditional PR venues. Magazines, TV, Radio. -Keep records on all outreach. -Should be very organized. -Strong computer ability. -Excel, Word, Power Point, Email follow up. -Strong ability and understanding how put together Post for all social platforms.-Artistic ability is a plus. -Develop ideas for outreach and creative briefs. - Establish and maintain professional one-on-one relationships with influencers and content creators, securing consistent messaging for our brand. -Experiment with growth initiatives to find new marketing channels.--Strong project and performance management skills.-Proficient in audio and video recording and editing procedures. In addition, we maintain a clean environment, do temperature checks, and provide masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer to our staff.
