Job Description:
Engage students in fun, creative and meaningful activities that will increase their understanding of strategies to avoid high-risk behaviors such as substance abuse and violence. In addition, activities will increase their personal financial skills, ability to think critically about media, ability to make informed decisions and skills to navigate relationships with peers. This is a part time, voluntary/unpaid internship.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Co-facilitating creative and experiential sessions in accordance with GITC standards, maintaining appropriate staff-student ratios.
- Assisting GITC staff with creating and maintaining a safe student-centered learning environment.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential participant records.
Qualifications

- Experience or willingness to work with individuals of diverse populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm for your work
- Good judgment and professional behavior
- Regular, punctual attendance and attention to all responsibilities
- Confidentiality in dealing with participant information
