    Position Summary

    As Compliance Program Assistant for afterschool and summer programs, the primary responsibility is to maintain accurate participant records and support program staff in ensuring program compliance. This position will play a vital role in monitoring and tracking student attendance, assisting with data tracking and entry, and participant registration. Your work will contribute to the efficient operation and success of the organization's after-school and summer programs.

    Major Responsibilities:

    Participant files

    · Oversee the completion of each participant’s application.

    · Participate in and actively attend registration drives.

    · Correspond with parents and staff on registration issues/questions.

    Program Monitoring

    · Monitor daily attendance of students participating in afterschool and Summer programs.

    · Track attendance data accurately using designated systems or tools.

    · Identify and address attendance discrepancies or anomalies promptly.

    Ensure maintenance of compliance binder.

    Data Entry and Reporting:

    · Enter attendance data into the organization's database or management system.

    · Generate reports on attendance trends, patterns, and overall program participation.

    · Prepare attendance-related documents and reports for program coordinators or management as required.

    · Assist in analyzing attendance data to identify areas for improvement and inform program decisions.

    · Gather data and compile reports for attendance, emergency contacts, report cards and emergency plan.

    Assist in maintaining confidentiality and security of student file.

    Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)

    · Associate or comparable skills in data entry and monitoring and administrative

    · Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    · Ability to work in an organized manner and able to respond effectively to change.

    · Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team environment.

    · Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.

    · Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and communication

    Hourly Compensation: $19 - $22

    Conditions of Employment

    Employment by Girls Inc. for all positions is contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check, including a sex offender check and a review of, and pre-employment drug screen. Employees hired for positions requiring a valid driver’s license must be continuously insurable under the Girls Inc. insurance policy throughout their employment period.
