    OPPORTUNITY: 

    Find purpose and excitement working with us at Giving Assistant. We're searching for an outgoing and organized individual to support our People Operations team with growing our employee headcount by 100%+ in 2020, while maintaining our values-driven culture.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Bring top talent to Giving Assistant by:
      • Meeting with hiring managers to understand needs and expectations, providing recommendations and/or pushback, when necessary
      • Grooming, publishing, and promoting job descriptions
      • Reviewing and actioning incoming applications
      • Conducting first-round phone interviews and providing feedback in a timely manner
      • Active candidate sourcing on LinkedIn, Angel.co, and other job seeking platforms
      • Liaising with external recruiting agencies
      • Scheduling and coordinating onsite interviews, including assistance with travel arrangements when necessary, and greeting candidates upon arrival
      • Conducting reference checks and administering background checks
      • Fostering an equitable, swift, and positive candidate experience
      • Building and maintaining Giving Assistant's employer brand
    • Assist in developing and executing initiatives to support employee engagement including Lunch & Learns, offsite events, volunteer activities, product demonstrations, and external speakers
    • Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including new employer paperwork when hiring out of state
    • Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements in San Francisco and remote employee locales
    • Maintain and organize employee-facing resources, including our intranet and documentation
    • Identify and drive process-improvement efforts, leveraging systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possible
    • Ensure all employee and company milestones are recognized and celebrated
    • Maintain high levels of confidentiality

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
    • 1-2+ years of recruiting or sales experience, preferably in the tech industry
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Self-motivated and highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Fast and detailed note-taker
    • Comfortable speaking to a high volume of candidates on the phone, and working directly with hiring managers up to the executive level
    • A high level of discretion and the ability to appropriately manage confidential information
    • Experience using G Suite for business

    BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Interest in social entrepreneurship and being part of the Certified B Corp community
    • Dedicated to removing bias in hiring wherever possible, and a desire to create an equitable and diverse work environment 
    • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Experience using Boolean search strings
    • Broad knowledge of HR principles and best practices
    • Familiar with affiliate marketing

    COMPENSATION:

    • $25-30/hr (temp-to-hire)
