    Company: 2BGlass Location: Cameron Park, CA (on-site) Position Type: Part-time to start, with strong potential to grow into full-time as company scales

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are seeking an extremely organized, detail-driven, and reliable person to run day-to-day inventory and fulfillment operations within our glass studio. This role blends inventory management, purchasing support, order fulfillment, and customer relationship building.

    You will be responsible for receiving heavy palletized shipments of materials, logging and tracking inventory with precision, packaging and labeling products, and maintaining strong relationships with customers by proactively checking in on their needs.

    This is a hands-on, physical role that also requires strong systems thinking and comfort working with inventory software and ecommerce platforms.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Inventory and Receiving • Receive palletized shipments of materials • Accurately weigh incoming materials and verify against packing lists • Log inventory into tracking systems with high precision • Maintain real-time inventory counts and flag discrepancies immediately • Organize storage for heavy materials in a safe and logical system

    Packaging and Labeling • Weigh materials into exact quantities for orders • Package products into pouches or containers with correct labeling • Maintain strict product ID accuracy (no mixing, no mislabeling) • Track batch numbers and variations when applicable

    Order Fulfillment and Ecommerce • Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently • Update inventory levels in Shopify and internal systems • Communicate with customers regarding orders, backorders, or substitutions • Support product listings with correct weights, SKUs, and descriptions

    Purchasing and Stock Planning Support • Monitor inventory trends and flag low-stock items • Assist with forecasting and re-order planning • Help track incoming shipments and lead times

    Customer Relationships and Outreach • Build and maintain relationships with customers • Proactively reach out to customers to check on product needs • Answer product questions and provide friendly, knowledgeable support • Maintain contact lists for ongoing outreach

    *All employees are required to participate in seasonal special events, including Pumpkin Patch events, Ornament Extravaganza, and other high-traffic retail weekends. These events involve customer interaction, setup and breakdown, and extended activity on your feet, and are a core part of working at 2BGlass.

    PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs (materials are very heavy) • Comfortable working in both warehouse and retail hybrid environments • Customer-facing role — comfortable interacting with artists, b2b, large organizations and walk-in customers • Comfortable working around and with forklifts, pallet jacks, pallets, cardboard, and glass materials • Ability to stand for long periods while weighing, packaging, and labeling products • High comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks in a production setting

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS

    • Extremely detail-oriented and precise — accuracy is non-negotiable • Highly organized and systems-driven • Comfortable with repetitive and methodical work • Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through • Physical endurance and safety-minded • Confident working independently once trained • Professional, friendly, and relationship-oriented with customers • Calm and focused in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment • Receptive to clear direction and direct feedback as part of a culture of accountability and safety • Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to step in when needed

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • Inventory management or purchasing experience • Order fulfillment, Ecommerce experience, especially Shopify • Materials handling or supply chain experience • Customer outreach experience • Experience working in a startup or fast-growth small business environment is highly desired

    • Glass experience is a bonus, but not required. We will train on product knowledge.

    SCHEDULE, START DATE, AND COMPENSATION

    Start Date: Approximately 2–3 weeks from January 11th

    Initial Schedule: • Part-time • Monday–Friday, approximately 5 hours per day • Preferred shift window: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (flexible) *Strong potential to grow into a full-time position as the department expands.

    Compensation: • $20–$24 per hour, DOE
