    POSITION SUMMARY

    Glass Roots Construction (GRC) was founded in 2022 by a team of career telecom and construction professionals and is in need of a Market Coordinator to help us flourish. GRC looks to leverage the latest technologies and utilize the best-in-industry equipment, construction, and safety practices to build a first-class nationwide fiber optic construction firm. This position is responsible for working with the Vice President of Operations, Director of Operations, and sub-contractors to ensure operations run smoothly. The successful candidate must be adept in data management, logistics, and operations, be excited about opportunities to learn and grow in their career and be able to execute various projects at a time. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations and represents an opportunity to join an excellent team on the ground floor, learn a lot, and have a ton of fun as GRC grows!

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • 811 Locate call-in/tracking
    • Data entry and database management
    • Coordinate materials and equipment tracking
    • Cost tracking/Purchase Order administration
    • Track and verify field production across multiple projects and markets
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
    • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
    • Permitting
    • Redlines/As-builts
    • Additional administrative deliveries/pickups/tasks as needed

    **** QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong technical/business knowledge
    • Verifiable experience in project management, operations, or business management.
    • Experience in data management

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Understanding of basic utility construction processes and terminology a plus
    • Strong data entry skills
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Process and documentation orientation, with a focus on continuous improvement
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Experience with GIS mapping software a plus
    • Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, etc.), Zoho, and project management tools a plus
