We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our real estate media company. This individual will play a crucial role in bringing to life captivating video content, especially focusing on Virtual Tours, Video Tours, and Aerial/Drone Videos for real estate listings. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable file management skills and a flair for storytelling through visual media.

You must be well-versed with Slack, as it serves as our primary channel for team communication. Importantly, we are seeking a professional who can work during U.S. business hours, with shifts predominantly starting at 9 AM EST, though some variation can be expected.

Key Responsibilities

Virtual Tours:

-Create branded and unbranded photo slideshows synchronized with music.

-Utilize Final Cut Pro X or a video editing system of choice to produce -high-quality content.

-Upload finalized content to YouTube and Dropbox.

-Familiarity with WeTransfer and other cloud based file management systems.

-Notify Content Delivery Editor upon completion of each project.

Video Tours and Aerial Videos:

-Collaborate with and assist the Lead Editors in crafting engaging video tours and aerial videos.

-Ensure smooth transition, precise cuts, and consistency in all produced content.

-Assist customers with editing requests on previously created video content.

Internal & Marketing Video Content:

-Work alongside the Lead Editors in creating internal video content for team training, promotional events, and other company initiatives.

-Showcase proficiency in producing a range of content including, but not limited to, training videos, customer-facing marketing videos, social media videos, etc.

File Management:

-Maintain impeccable file organization to ensure efficient workflows and easy access to assets and finalized content.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

-Proven experience in video editing, preferably within the real estate sector.

-Proficiency in using Final Cut Pro X or other professional video editing software.

-Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual composition, including a strong understanding of color correction techniques. DaVinci experience preferred but not required.

-Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

-Familiarity with YouTube, Dropbox, and other content sharing platforms.

-Experience working with programs such as Motion or Adobe After Effects to create custom graphics and lower 3rds.
