Laboratory Glassware Technician – Contract-to-Hire

 Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
 Contract: 145 days, Contract-to-Hire

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory environment? This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, or related fields who want to take their first step into the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment used for processing laboratory glassware.

• Collect used glassware from labs and ensure proper cleaning and sterilization.

• Distribute sterile glassware and solutions to laboratory teams.

• Maintain inventory of glassware and supplies, placing orders when needed.

• Safely operate specialized equipment such as autoclaves.

• Prepare basic laboratory solutions for use in research and testing.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with documentation updates.

• Support laboratory safety programs and participate in safety activities.

• Perform additional duties as required to support lab operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize safety, and work independently.

• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
