Position: GLASS TEMPERING MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE FOR OFF-SHIFT PREMIUM

LOCATION: 4005 S Clay St Englewood, CO 80110

WAGE: $20 per Hour

WHAT IS THE OFF-SHIFT PREMIUM SCHEDULE?  -4 days/40 hours  -Saturday (10 hours), Sunday (10 hours), Monday (10 hours on night-shift), Tuesday (10 hours on night-shift) -Scheduled days off are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing/Production Operation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
• Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8”
• Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day
• Ability to complete simple computer tasks
• Ability to communicate in English
• Background Check/Drug Screen

SUMMARY

Glaz-Tech is looking for an EXPERIENCED GLASS TEMPERING FABRICATOR at our ENGLEWOOD, CO location. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self –driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include fabricating, handling, and assembling glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc. The glass fabricator will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Learning and using a custom tempering furnace and production program to appropriately temper glass product
• Reading production tags to correctly temper appropriate glass 
• Organizing incoming product for department and completed product
• Inspecting product to ensure a quality product is produced.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US
