    TITLE: Human Resource Coordinator

    DEPARTMENT: Corporate Human Resources

    SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8-5 p.m., *Position is not remote

    PREFERRED START DATE: Monday, October 4th, 2021

    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position aids with and facilitates the Human Resources processes over all Glaz-Tech locations. This role administers employee health plans, wellness initiatives, and serves as a point of resource for employees, management and other corporate representatives.

    The Human Resource Coordinator ensures that tasks are administered in accordance with federal and local state regulations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Administers health plans including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents with payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and reconciling benefits statements regularly.

    • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

    • Completes I-9 form verification - verifies proper documentation and maintains I-9 files.

    • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in applicant tracking system (ATS) and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.

    • Assists with candidate and applicant tracking processing required forms.

    • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.

    • Prepares new hire packets and maintains organization of employee files

    • Assists with processing of employee lifecycle documents – new hire forms, preparation of the performance review forms, status changes and/or terminations.

    • Serves as a point of communication between recruitment candidates and management.

    • Assists in the preparation of required state forms and/or garnishment forms.

    • Responsible communication to managers of upcoming training requirements for employees.

    • Help supervisors in assessing employee engagement and evaluation.

    • Create and submit applicable reports to senior management

    • Facilitates promotion of recruitment through social media, job boards, online communities and resume databases

    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

    • In-depth knowledge of human resources operations and best practices

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    • General knowledge in state legislation and payroll practices

    • Ability to handle data & information with confidentiality

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5 Years of Human Resources Related Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. (Preferred not required)

    • Bilingual (Preferred not required)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
