Glaz-Tech Industries is a locally owned wholesale glass manufacturer and supplier of construction & specialty glass across 7 states.

We are looking for an organized and efficient Accounting Clerk to fill an on-site position. The accounting clerk will work alongside and in support of our finance and accounting team and Finance Director.

Starting Pay: $15.50/hour
Schedule: Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The clerk will be required to commit to 25-30 hours per week.

Candidates must be eager to learn, be responsible and have some experience in the field of accounting. Customer support experience is also necessary. Those with previous Microsoft Office and accounting experience will be preferred.

Activities and Key Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with office managers and retail customers regarding Accounts Receivable, on-hold accounts, invoicing, payments, and other account related issues.
• Conduct credit checks, reference checks and other research related to new retail credit account recommendations.
• Payroll related activities to include garnishments and 401(K) support.
• Credit card processing administrative support.
• Other accounting related functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US
• Background check and drug screening
