Express Employment is hiring immediately for a Field Installer (Glazier) for a company local to the Brighton, MI area - Installers will only need to check into the main location occasionally. Prior carpentry, precision glass or trade school experience preferred. Direct Hire Position - Apply now!

What you’ll do:

• Install bullet resistant products in customers banks, credit unions, and convenience stores
• Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, shipment and fabrication of product and materials:
• Unload / load trailers
• Fabrication as needed
• Use established mechanical and power tools, equipment and technologies required to complete transactions.
• Read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product.
• Adhere to and enforce basic housekeeping standards, safe operating procedures; e.g. OSHA, PPE, etc. and basic building maintenance.
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality & service.
• Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve customer issues.
• Drive company truck as needed.
• Extensive travel – 75% of time is spent traveling to and from installation locations.

What you’ll need:

• High School diploma or GED required
• CDL license preferred but not required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; up to 75 lbs. occasionally
• Experience with MS Office and basic math skills
