Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assisted living facility (12-bed unit), ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and coordinate care plans with healthcare providers and family members.
• Monitor medication management processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain accurate resident records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate activities and services for residents.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance audits.
• Act as a liaison between residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to address concerns and facilitate communication.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota.
• LALD certification preferred OR agreement to obtain license under Glen Oaks Senior Living’s expense.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in assisted living or long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living facilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards residents and their families.
