    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Visa’s Global Brand Strategy and Planning team develops and oversees global brand strategies to advance Visa as the relevant, preferred and trusted brand that is a force for good and growth.

    We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join the team to support the evolution, amplification and leadership of one of Visa’s most important assets: the brand, ranked the 7th most valuable brand and valued at an estimated $191B, according to BrandZ.

    You will support cross-functional projects through our unique rotational program, which will enable you to gain invaluable experiences across multiple disciplines and network with a variety of leaders within the Visa organization. As part of the rotational experience, this role will be specifically focused on supporting focus areas:

    • Brand Strategy: Designing strategies to future-proof the brand, defining how the brand drives growth and operationalizing the strategy.

    • Brand Partnerships & Advocacy: Building a legacy for good and for growth through brand partnerships and advocacy programs.

    Below are examples of the diverse set of projects that interns have led in the past:

    • Informed development of a strategic outlook to inform Visa’s strategic approach among high-growth priority audiences (e.g., Gen Z) through strategic compilation of multiple regional research studies.

    • Supported global activations of She’s Next, Visa’s global platform to empower women small business owners through grants and coaching.

    • Aided development of strategic framework to define future approach to developing and activating brand partnerships to innovate the brand with emerging partners and environments.

    • Helped support the Strategy & Planning operations across Global Brand Strategy and Planning, including goal setting and annual planning.

    • Partnered with regional marketing teams to advance key initiatives, serving as a global hub to facilitate communications across teams, share best practices, and advance key global initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration with focus in Marketing/Strategy or a related field and graduating in the Spring of 2024

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • You have project management experience with excellent attention to detail

    • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; you’re comfortable managing spreadsheets, devising formulas, and performing data analysis, while also building Executive presentations

    • 3-5 years of experience (prior to MBA) in Consumer Product Goods, Technology, Consulting, or Financial Services that demonstrates interest in marketing/strategy.

    • Demonstrates track record of developing leadership skills through academic or extra-curricular activities.

    • Highly driven and resourceful as demonstrated through a combination of academic, career experience, or extra-curricular activities.

    • Strong ability to collaborate with others, innovative and curious - always looking to do things better.

    • Champion creativity, bold ideas, and new ways of doing things.

    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as written and oral skills including the ability to present with impact to a variety of stakeholders.

    • Demonstrates a proven ability to thrive in high pressure situations and a fast paced and matrixed environment.

    • Comfortable juggling multiple projects while quick to adapt to shifting priorities and innovate quickly when new information surfaces.
