Job Description
This role will focus on managing the logistics of research and development materials that move in and out of our laboratory, in compliance with all transportation regulations.
- Execute proper packaging and labeling of shipping research material in and out of our Richland laboratory for ground and/or air transport.
- Provides specimen management for client Pre-Clinical and Clinical Pharmacology in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) compliant environment.
- Maintains the chain of custody for biological specimens.
- Provides domestic logistics.
- Ensures compliance with International Air Transport Association (IATA), DOT, EPA, and internal compliance regulations.
- Keeps accurate records of all Hazardous Material shipments for auditing by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), FAA, and NRC.
- Serve as a site contact with the contracted interplant courier service and their drivers.
