    POSITION DESCRIPTION: Calling all Cybersecurity superheroes that seek a challenge to grow and work alongside a dynamic team on securing advanced cloud technology for the U.S. Army Future's Command in downtown Austin, Texas. Our work makes an impact on U.S. national security to protect the freedoms we enjoy. We are currently seeking a Cloud Cybersecurity Architect to help modernize Futures Command's cloud platform for advanced decision making and cyber capabilities.

    In this role, you will provide the overall direction and guidance for cybersecurity policy, strategy, and compliance for an organization level enterprise cloud platform. You will be knowledgeable of Department of Defense information security policies, practices, and legal requirements including DoDI 8510.01, DISA STIGs, and FedRAMP, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 Rev4 or higher and capable of reviewing, analyzing, and assessing systems configurations/architectures to identify security, safety, and mission-critical functions/components. You may be tasked with the development and delivery of system security and information assurance documentation, consistent with federal standards to support system certification and accreditation. We seek individuals willing to push the boundaries in the “art of the possible” with an eye to the future for a modern, DevSecOps-style, approach for conducting testing and conveying control information, consistent with the NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework and capable of devising policy recommendations to streamline and accelerate successful security outcomes. You must be comfortable in solution ideation, co-creation, and providing guidance and oversite of subordinate cybersecurity teams at the platform and application levels. This may also include interaction with senior policy directors at the Department and Service level as needed.
