    Job Description

    About the role

    As a GMS Project Manager, you will take ownership of the planning and execution of key cross-functional projects—including product launches, lifecycle management, technology transfers, and divestments. You will structure and lead project teams, ensuring that all deliverables are achieved on time, in full, and in alignment with Sobi’s patient-centric mission.

    You will collaborate closely with partners across Markets, Finance, TechOps, Commercial, External partners and Regulatory to ensure seamless execution and robust communication at all stages. You will also play an important role in developing and improving processes, tools, and ways of working that strengthen Sobi’s ability to launch and manage products with excellence.

    This position is hybrid and based at one of our Global Hubs in Stockholm - Sweden (HQ), Basel - Switzerland, Raleigh - US or Boston - US reporting directly to Head Global Manufacturing & Supply Project Management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead project management for global product launches and lifecycle initiatives with a strong focus on launch excellence, supply reliability, cost and patient impact.
    • Create, for the assigned launch or project, an end to end vision from initiation to implementation, integrated into the product strategy.
    • Partner with the Product Team Lead to align on priorities, stakeholders, project resources, and budget, and help remove obstacles to ensure successful execution.
    • Drive proactive, transparent communication and collaboration with stakeholders across Markets, Regulatory, and all TechOps functions.
    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships across global and local teams.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure robust and resilient delivery.
    • Align closely with Commercial, Regulatory, and TechOps on supply and commercial strategies and translate market needs into manufacturing & supply capabilities.
    • Contribute to the development of project reporting dashboards, ensuring accurate status tracking, KPIs, and resource visibility.
    • Represent the GMS Project Management function in Product Teams and cross-functional forums across the Sobi organisation.

    Key Qualifications

    • Extensive experience managing complex projects within external/internal manufacturing
    • Minimum 5 years GMP/GDP experience.
    • 5–10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
    • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory, supply chain and lifecycle management.
    • Previous experience in transitioning from development phase to commercial phase
    • Experience working effectively in intercultural and highly matrixed environments.
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional and remote teams.
    • University degree in Life Sciences, International Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Formal project management qualification.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal English.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office, project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet), and ERP systems.

    The base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $157,000. Each individual offer will be determined based on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, this role is eligible for both short-term and long-term bonuses, as outlined in the plan details.
