Job Description

This is an in-office position - SAN DIEGO 92127 Specific functions and responsibilities include: * Working with database engineering team on solutions / enhancements for recurring problems * Sharing domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training other peers and team members * Work with SR SQL DBA Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security * Refining and automating regular processes, track issues, and documenting changes * Assist SR SQL DBA in managing SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems Responsibilities: * Administer, test, and implement computer databases * Coordinate changes to computer databases * Implement security measures to safeguard computer databases * Monitor performance space on servers and databases * Respond to database problems and escalations * Provide trend analysis and reporting Qualifications: * Previous experience in database administration or other related fields (3 or more years) * Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Deadline and detail-oriented Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide one global technology platform to allow our clients to have access to key business information at their fingertips 24/7.
