Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Driver / Counter Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for a combination of driving duties and assisting customers at the counter. Experience in the landscape/irrigation industry and sales experience is a plus. Comfortable with speaking and being in front of vendors, contractors, meeting in office and on jobsites.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the delivery and pickup of equipment to various locations.

Assist customers at the counter by providing product information, processing transactions, and addressing inquiries.

Load and unload equipment onto company vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and showroom areas.

Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet delivery schedules.

Provide support to other departments as needed, including inventory management and stocking shelves.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.

Basic knowledge of lawn and landscape equipment is a plus.

Flexibility to work half days on Saturdays during the busy season.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
