Our client, a prestigious tax and accounting firm, is seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join their team of financial experts. As a CPA, your primary responsibility will be preparing business and personal taxes, with additional duties including managing financial statements and client relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in addressing their need for a full-time tax expert, reducing tax liabilities, and efficiently managing non-tax season tasks such as payroll, sales tax, and business extensions.

The office is currently located in the Bronx, NY, but will be moving to Westchester, NY in the spring of 2024.

Responsibilities:

· Preparing business and personal taxes

· Financial Statements

· Managing clients

· Payroll

· Sales tax

· Handling business extensions

Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of experience is required.

· Seeking a seasoned professional, especially with tax expertise.

· CPA required.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Proficiency in tax software (Lacerate), or similar software.

Work Hours:

· Busy during tax season

· Potential for reduced hours outside of tax season. 3-day work week.
