    Summary/Objective

    The Regional Sales Representative delivers profitable growth in a defined geographic territory through the sale of new tools, resale tools, and repair services. The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for a specific group of customers and an annual sales budget in his/her geography and develops strong, enduring relationships with these customers to maximize the share of wallet spend.

    Essential Functions

    Aggressively pursue sales of services and products in territory through prospecting, problem solving, and relationship building to achieve yearly sales goals, increase market share and maximize profits. Includes new tool sales, service, parts, and additional consultative services such as usage audits, surveys, and training programs.

    Coordinate with inside service and sales support staff in management of accounts.

    Proactively and constructively analyze customer accounts to determine potential for both present and future needs. Establish rapport between customers, matching mutual benefits for each.

    Plan/focus and target accounts, markets, industries or geography activity plans on an annual basis using a strategic sales planning process. Communicate plans with manager and sale team-members to better leverage Peak Toolworks capabilities and strengths. Prepare monthly Forecast for assigned territory.

    Research and prepare presentation of product designed to satisfy specific account requirements while maximizing company profits. Prepare and track all active quotations.

    Daily use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for time and territory management.

    Effectively utilize personal computer and other technological tools as offered by the company including MSOffice, Epicor and others which may be identified at a later date. Maintain and submit timely and accurate reports of daily/weekly business and sales activity.

    Performance Management and Success in the Role

    The output of the Outside Sales Professional will be linked to the corporate goals of Revenue Expansion and EBITDA (Bottom Line Profit) enhancement but will also include the ability to connect with customers, understand the business, and assist Regional Sales Managers. Success in the role will be measured largely in achieving and exceeding annual sales targets as well as individual behaviors including: Depth of Thought, Ability to Drive for Results, Ability to work with and through others (People), and Self Knowledge, understanding personal strengths and weaknesses.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment and most of the role consists of traveling in a vehicle visiting customers. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, drive The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision. Hearing, speaking on phone equipment, presenting in front of groups is required

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time W2 position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 45-55 hours a week.

    Travel

    Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

    Must have a valid US or Canadian Drivers’ License and acceptable driving record.

    Travel 75%

    Must be able to travel to US or Canada with Passport

    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s Degree with an engineering concentration and 5 years of equivalent work experience required

    Saw Blade or Industrial sales experience preferred

    Establishes good, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, key institutions other relevant bodies

    Good at operation of MS Office system, CRM, and ability to learn ERP data sources such as Tableau or Epicore.

    Good interpersonal skill

    Honest, self-motivated, good team work

    Fluent written & verbal English communications

    Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations
