    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Director of Operations for the joint use group will lead operational efforts in joint use services, driving strategy execution, streamlining processes, and managing teams. This pivotal role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and delivering top-tier service to both clients and partners.

    JOB FUNCTION:

    • Develop and execute operational strategies that enhance productivity and ensure that joint-use services align with the overall business goals.
    • Work closely with senior management to identify opportunities for service expansion and operational improvements.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Joint Use group, ensuring effective management and execution of projects.
    • Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize profitability and efficiency.
    • Implement rigorous quality control measures and processes to uphold the standards of service.
    • Actively engage in troubleshooting and enhancing engineering processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure accountability and excellence.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
    • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all joint-use operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Proactively identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the business.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the engineering sector (electrical utility or telecom preferred).
    • Proven track record of operational improvement and expertise in managing large, cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with budget management, strategic planning, and process improvement.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with multiple stakeholders and fostering team collaboration.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and guidelines is highly desirable.
