    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are looking for a Project Manager for a company project. The manager will oversee on-time and budget-conscious construction for the terrestrial part of the project, ensuring environmental responsibility and safety compliance.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

    • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships and communicate effectively with the general public, stakeholders, contractors, and other employees.
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Construction or Project Management.
    • Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Smart Sheets, Primavera P6.
    • Previous utility-scale gas transmission and/or electric transmission services project experience is a plus.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license.

    JOB FUNCTION:

    • Foster a culture of zero-harm performance, emphasizing safety above all.
    • Vigilantly monitor and enforce environmental compliance ensuring the Contractor's awareness and adherence to all requirements in Company’s permits and regulatory approvals.
    • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the Contractor's ES&H program, with a focus on monitoring on site activities to ensure compliance.
    • Engage with Contractor's Craft to promote and support safe work practices, and ensure they are cognizant of the associated risks.
    • Collaborate with site personnel to resolve safety issues, escalating unresolved concerns. Provide vigilant oversight of construction operations, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, contract terms, and design specifications through a comprehensive understanding of project documents and regular on-site presence.
    • Identify cost and schedule changes, deviations, and risks, bringing them to the attention of leadership and including them in the Critical Items Action List, weekly, and monthly reports.
    • Monitor construction activities to ensure Contractor compliance with all project quality requirements, actively communicating technical issues and recommending solutions as needed.
    • Identify and resolve blockers promptly.
    • Ensure the development of as-built documentation as the project progresses, coordinating with the Contractor to facilitate a seamless close-out.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with third parties.
    • Attend and actively participate in the Contractor's progress meetings.
    • Assist in preparing project studies, reports, and forecasts when required.
    • Prepare project weekly and monthly reports as necessary.
