Qualifications
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CPA required.
Master’s Degree in taxation or Tax LLM degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years’ corporate tax experience with a multinational corporation including a minimum of 5 years supervising department staff.
Big 4 public accounting background preferred.
Experience with international tax planning for a multinational company.
Hands-on knowledge of tax accounting rules under U.S. GAAP and ASC740.
Experience handling tax audits and related negotiations/litigation.
Experience researching/analyzing/working through complex foreign, federal, state and local tax issues.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent written and presentation skills coupled with strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities across different functional areas and cultures.
Self-starting personality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously; ability to work independently and make decisions.
Possesses the ability to work with a variety of external constituencies, including domestic and international taxing authorities and outside tax professionals.
Ability to keep abreast of current tax laws and impending legislations that could impact the corporation.
A team player with the ability and understanding of how to operate in a dynamic multi-cultural organization, multinational experience essential.
Ability and inclination to roll up sleeves and dig in. Dependence on and confidence in own abilities to get things done.
Results and success-oriented, with the ability to make decisions and to follow through on programs and policies which have been developed.
