Global Trade Compliance Manager – TCRS4446

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Global Trade Compliance Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive global trade compliance strategy to best support the company’s regulatory and supply chain needs.

This role is hybrid/remote for candidates in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN Area.

EXPECTATIONS

• Act as subject matter expert on international trade laws, tariffs, and industry trends.
• Champion of all trade related processes, best practices, and tools.
• Support daily export and import operational activities.Responsible for FTA, Tariff Engineering and other strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to drive company trade compliance program and reduce duty
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance for all products.
• Develop relationships with Customs Brokers and outside trade counsel.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for inquiries about ADD/CVD & PGA requests.
• Screens sanctioned/restricted parties and makes export license determinations.

ESSENTIALS

• Ideally, 5+ years progressive in-depth knowledge of working with US Customs and trade regulations
• Expert knowledge of US and international customs laws, including expert knowledge of HTS Classification, Country of Origin, Valuation, Free Trade Agreements, etc.
• Proven ability to solve problems and research regulatory requirements in a changing regulatory environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Customs Broker License preferred.
