Globe Business Interiors/GBI, a leading office furniture installation company in West Chester, Ohio is seeking an experienced Installation/Service Manager to join our team. Since 1946, GBI has contributed to the community as a provider dealer of the highest quality furniture installation, and related services. SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Excellent leadership skills – professional, confident, authoritative, motivational, consistent, a good trainer, team player and able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Understand the metrics that drive the overall P&L for the business and how to improve these to increase profitability
• Provide quick turnaround for quotes back to clients for requested services
• Able to delegate workloads evenly, efficiently and consider worker's strengths/weaknesses when scheduling
• Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, hectic environment, and can prioritize multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Excellent coordination skills - coordinate and schedule shipping, receiving, installing, and warehousing/storage of product
• Excellent troubleshooting skills - ability to resolve problems proactively and efficiently
• Detail oriented with inventory, paperwork, and computer work
• Excellent organization skills - able to tag, organize and shift product to create efficient product flow, and maintain organized warehouse that allows for easy inventorying
• Ability to develop/implement new procedures that will enhance productivity and efficiency

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 2-4 years’ experience as Service Manager/Warehouse Manager
• 2-4 years in commercial office furniture installation
• Proven abilities of the above skills in previous jobs
• High School diploma
• Some college or post high school education preferred
• Experience with operating warehouse equipment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and team lift even larger items.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to temperature changes and workplace hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
