The Copywriting Intern is responsible for assisting the Marketing Team with a range of copywriting projects. 

This will include everything from short-form copy like online ad copy or social media posts, to longer-form projects such as blog articles or brochures. 

This is an opportunity to get exposed to a wide range of copywriting projects, working within a fun and enthusiastic team that is passionate about making a difference.

We're looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, and can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week in our office in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. This is an unpaid internship, but snacks, tea, coffee, transportation costs and lots of new skills are included! 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write copy for ads or organic posts on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram
• Write SEO-friendly copy for web pages and blog articles
• Take raw material or stories and turning it into something we can share with our customers
• Take direction from the marketing team to create copy that is in line with brand tone of voice and takes into account the performance of previous campaigns

REQUIREMENTS:

• Recently completed or working towards a degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field
• Attention to detail and eager to learn
• A natural flair for writing copy that gets the message across in the most brief and inspiring way
• A creative mindset and lots of ideas

PREFERRED:

• Experience writing for ecommerce businesses
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
