Through our subscription box and online shop, we curate crafted, distinct goods and educate customers about how and where our artisans created them.

    BASIC PURPOSE OF JOB:

    As Photography Coordinator you will have the overall responsibility for the planning and maintenance of brand image across all photography of products sold by GlobeIn. You will be expected to work interdepartmentally to accomplish these tasks. These tasks include the systemization and planning of product photography photoshoots, studio and lifestyle, including the planning and sourcing of personnel and materials for photoshoots and the corresponding pre- and post-production needed for the completion of photography.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in relevant field.
    • 1+ years experience in Photography, Design, Advertising, or other creative fields.
    • Ability to do essential job duties.
    • Ability to read, understand, speak and follow English instructions.  
    • Display superior interpersonal skills for effective communication with peers.
    • Extremely organized & resourceful.
    • Skilled with time management.
    • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud, and other creative apps.
    • Must own a high-performing DSLR.
    • Must be able to work in San Francisco.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job.  They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable.  The following are the essential functions of the job.

    Role, Responsibilities, Preferred Experience:

    • Main Role: Project coordinator for GlobeIn product photography from pre- to post-production: creating mood boards, shopping for props, booking locations/photographers/models, styling, post-processing images, organizing photos in Google Drive, uploading photos in Shopify listings, etc.

    DUTIES:

    Photography

    • Management
      • Pre-Production
        • Sourcing
          • Personnel (Photographers, Models, Stylist)
          • Materials (Props, Clothes, Food, etc.)
      • Production
        • Art directing the photographer, and stylist
      • Post-Production
        • Post-processing and organization of photos
    • Experience in both white/ colored background photography, as well as lifestyle photography
      • Photography in-house of all samples for use in Shop sales
      • Photography in-house for all samples for use in Add-on sales
      • Photography in-house for all Limited Edition Boxes for use in Shop sales
    • Experience in styling for lifestyle photoshoots
      • Brainstorming a spread/mood board for a shoot
      • Taking initiative to set up a shoot, and following through to the end (from brainstorming to photographing to editing)
    • Budget
      • Keep track of photography budget and staying without bounds of allocated spend.
    • Market Research
      • Researching photography trends, etc.

    This is a full-time position. Flexible work hours and opportunity to work-remotely.
