    Position Summary :

    The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for cross-functional program management to support issues with current production, developing new suppliers to reduce cost, qualify new components, increase capacity, and auditing suppliers to ensure process conformance. This effort includes, but is not limited to the outlined duties and responsibilities and may change at any time with or without notice. This individual works with Product Development, Operations, Accounting, Receiving, Inspection, Logistics and Customer Service personnel to ensure project completion by working on multiple phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity.

    Essential Functions :

    • Cross-Functional program management
    • Supports current production
    • Develops alternate and new sources of supply
    • Provides technical support and leadership to sourcing of suppliers
    • Provides leadership during investigations of major problems
    • Assists with new product launches
    • Contributes to continuous improvement activities
    • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Demonstrates organizational skills and has the ability to manage deadlines
    • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
    • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
    • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

    ** Qualifications** :

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
    • Greenbelt certification a plus
    • Familiarity with ERP/MRP planning systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-starter
    • Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
