    Our client is seeking an experienced individual in Pottstown, PA to join their team as the Terminal Manager of a reputable Moving and Storage company.

    As Terminal Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the moving terminal. You will be responsible for managing a team of employees, ensuring the safe handling and transportation of our customers' belongings, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to upholding the company's reputation for quality and professionalism.

    Responsibilities:

    1) Operations Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of moving and storage services.

    • Establish and maintain operational processes, quality standards, and performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

    • Monitor and optimize resource allocation, including equipment, manpower, and transportation, to maximize efficiency and profitability.

    2) Safety and Compliance:

    • Uphold safety standards and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for employees to prevent accidents and injuries.

    • Monitor and maintain equipment, including trucks, for safety and functionality.

    3) Team Development:

    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals and operations staff.

    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedback to enhance individual and team capabilities.

    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    4) Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the annual budget, regularly monitoring financial performance and taking proactive measures to meet or exceed targets.

    • Analyze financial data, market trends, and industry insights to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

    • Ensure effective cost control measures are in place while maintaining service quality standards.

    5) Customer Service Excellence:

    • Drive a customer-centric culture throughout the organization, prioritizing exceptional service and building strong customer relationships.

    • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

    • Stay up to date with industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to customers’ needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Operations Management, or a related field.

    • Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role within the moving and storage industry.

    • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence preferred.

    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, make data-driven decisions, and manage budgets effectively.

    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

    • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
