  • Responsibilities

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    •  Oversee staff of approximately 12 people by providing direction and guidance in work assignments and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks. 
    •  Develops, coaches and supports the revenue accounting team to maximize individual and team performance. 
    •  Define and measure the workload and productivity requirements amongst the team. 
    •  Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to staff and management. 
    •  Own the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of the order-to-cash process. 
    •  Manage the monthly revenue and cost of revenue close process (calendar, reviews, reconciliations, reporting) and maintain revenue and cost of revenue metrics, reports and reconciliation. 
    •  Manage and establish processes for cost of revenue contractor expenses. 
    •  Formalize revenue recognition policies and procedures and communicate with the appropriate parties to ensure compliance and alignment with customer requirements. 
    •  Establish standard processes for new client onboarding to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of invoicing, accounting and reporting. 
    •  Identify opportunities and lead improvements in the invoicing processes to improve timeliness and accuracy. 
    •  Establish strong relationships with operational leaders to learn the business, ensure their understanding of their responsibilities within the invoicing process, and provide training as necessary. 
    •  Ensure appropriate levels of documentation on invoicing processes to ensure business continuity. 
    QUALIFICATONS
    •  Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 
    •  Knowledge of MS Office skills. 
    •  Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise good judgment in dealing with sensitive information. 
    •  Ability to analyze complex process flows and recommend, as well as implement, changes to improve staff efficiencies and results. 
    •  Ability to work effectively in a team. 
    •  Exemplary organization and problem-solving skills. 
    •  Ability to work under minimal supervision and with a strong sense of self-motivation. 
    •  Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail. 
    •  Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a changing environment. 
    •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
