Job Overview: As a Guest Services Host at SEVEN, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for greeting patrons, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless service flow during bourbon tastings and events.

Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement:

Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Provide information about our bourbon selection and guide guests through the tasting experience.

Reservation Management:

Effectively manage reservations, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely communication with guests.

Maintain an organized system for tracking and confirming reservations.

Bourbon Knowledge:

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our bourbon collection, including the nuances of flavor profiles, distilleries, and aging processes.

Share your knowledge with guests to enhance their appreciation of the bourbons offered.

Service Coordination:

Collaborate with bartenders and servers to ensure smooth service during bourbon tastings and events.

Assist in coordinating private tastings, corporate events, and special occasions.

Customer Satisfaction:

Anticipate and address guest needs promptly to ensure a memorable and positive experience.

Seek feedback and actively work towards continuous improvement in service quality.

Upselling and Promotion:

Encourage guests to explore different bourbons and make recommendations based on their preferences.

Promote special events, promotions, and memberships to enhance guest engagement.

Maintaining Ambiance:

Ensure the bar area is well-presented and maintains the desired upscale ambiance.

Collaborate with the bar staff to create an aesthetically pleasing and inviting environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a high-end bar or upscale hospitality setting.

Strong knowledge of bourbon and a passion for spirits.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Ability to bend at the waist.

Ability to kneel, squat, twist, and reach above shoulder.

Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, up to 20 lbs.

Ability to push/pull 10-25 lbs.

Ability to perform cleaning functions, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
