Job Overview: As a Bartender at SEVEN, you will be at the forefront of crafting memorable experiences for our patrons. Your expertise in mixology, passion for bourbon, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to our establishment's overall success and reputation.

Responsibilities:

Bourbon Knowledge:

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of bourbon varieties, production processes, and flavor profiles.

Educate patrons on the nuances of different bourbons and recommend selections based on their preferences.

Mixology and Service:

Prepare and serve a variety of bourbon-based cocktails with precision and flair.

Ensure that all beverages meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Learn all food and drink preparation.

Customer Engagement:

Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for patrons, engaging them in friendly conversation.

Anticipate and fulfill customer needs promptly, providing a personalized and memorable experience.

Bar Operations:

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper stocking of supplies and inventory management.

Follow cash handling procedures.

Operate Point of Sale Software-Toast.

Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Adhere to all Liquor Laws.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the bar and Hosts to coordinate seamless service during events and tastings.

Collaborate with management on menu development and special promotions.

Up-selling and Promotion:

Encourage patrons to explore different bourbons and experience the full range of our offerings.

Promote special events, promotions, and memberships to enhance guest engagement.

Customer Feedback:

Solicit and respond to customer feedback, continuously striving to enhance the overall bar experience.

Address customer concerns or issues with professionalism and attentiveness.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bartender in an upscale bar or similar setting.

Extensive knowledge of bourbon and a passion for mixology.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and composure.

Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.

STAR Certification in responsible alcohol service. (Must be kept valid and complied with)

Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Ability to bend at the waist.

Ability to kneel, squat, twist, and reach above shoulder.

Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, up to 25 lbs.

Ability to push/pull 10-25 lbs.

Ability to perform cleaning functions, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
