Job Description

We are looking to hire individuals who are passionate about patient care to perform triage intake telephone services and sales. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

Responsibilities: • Perform triage telephone screenings of patients and document basic medical history • Ensure accurate notes of all communications are recorded in the patients record • Organize and schedule appointments • Update and file medical records and insurance reports • Check with patients and type up patients charts • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms • Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that patients feel supported and valued. • Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately. • Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position. • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Skills: • Experience in a medical office setting, preferred • Experience with inbound and outbound calling, requirement • Sales experience, preferred • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work • Social perceptiveness and service oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
