    The Role

    The Graveyard Go-Back Team Member plays a critical role in protecting Found’s inventory standards and preparing products for the next event cycle. Working overnight, this team is responsible for processing all off-loaded inventory, inspecting returned items, and ensuring only rental-ready products are returned to shelves.

    This role is hands-on, detail-driven, and quality-focused. You are the final checkpoint before inventory re-enters circulation. Items requiring cleaning, repair, or refinishing are properly documented and routed to the appropriate team, including Fab Lab and Inventory.

    Your work directly impacts load accuracy, client satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    Off-Load Quality Control

    • Process all returned inventory from daily off-loads

    • Inspect items for cleanliness, structural integrity, and overall rental readiness

    • Clean, wipe down, re-bag, and properly protect items as needed

    • Confirm items meet Found’s rental standards before returning to shelves

    • Mark and document items as rental-ready in the inventory system

    Repair & Fab Lab Coordination

    • Identify items requiring repair, refinishing, or structural attention

    • Properly tag and route items into the Fab Lab repair queue

    • Communicate priority repair needs based on upcoming demand

    • Track items sent to Fab Lab and verify return before shelving

    Inventory Accuracy & Organization

    • Ensure items return to their designated shelf locations

    • Report missing, damaged, or retired inventory to the Quality Control Supervisor

    • Maintain clean and organized go-back and QC staging areas

    • Support inventory tracking and documentation

    Cross-Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with Warehouse and Load Teams to ensure smooth workflow

    • Communicate quality trends or recurring damage issues to leadership

    • Support Inventory team with tracking patterns in wear and tear

    Safety & Compliance

    • Follow proper material handling procedures

    • Maintain safe work areas during overnight shifts

    • Adhere to California labor laws regarding meal and rest breaks

    Qualifications

    • Warehouse, inventory, or quality control experience preferred

    • Strong attention to detail and high quality standards

    • Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills

    • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks
