We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications. You should have a strong background in PHP, HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript, and a solid understanding of WCAG guidelines to ensure our websites are accessible to all users. Additionally, you should possess expertise in various platforms and tools, including WordPress with custom themes, HubSpot, Shopify (including editing liquid files), Zapier, GitHub, and MySQL.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain websites and web applications using PHP and JavaScript, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
2. Follow WCAG guidelines to ensure websites are accessible and inclusive for all users.
3. Build WordPress sites using custom themes, providing clients with unique and tailored solutions.
4. Create HubSpot landing pages and emails, leveraging the platform's capabilities to deliver effective marketing campaigns.
5. Develop custom deliverables for clients, understanding their unique requirements and translating them into functional web solutions.
6. Provide code for A/B testing, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimization of websites and campaigns.
7. Demonstrate a baseline understanding of Shopify and editing liquid files, assisting with e-commerce website development and customization.
8. Independently troubleshoot miscellaneous issues that arise during the development and maintenance process, ensuring timely resolution.
10. Utilize your solid understanding of Zapier to integrate various applications and automate workflows for improved efficiency.
11. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project outcomes.
12. Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of PHP and WordPress Functions

4. Experience building custom WordPress sites.

Work Location
Our office is located in downtown Raleigh, NC. We offer a flexible, hybrid work schedule, so you'll be able to work from home, a coffee shop, or, if you are local to Raleigh, meet with your team in person at our Raleigh office.
We are open to remote work in the U.S. (preferably EST) for the right candidate.
