    Do you love a good story? How about facts and figures? Do spreadsheets, data, and charts give you the good kind of goosebumps? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then please, keep reading.

    We need a Content Production Specialist to help us bring data to life. By helping our clients discover how data can tell a story and earn media coverage, you'll play a critical role in shaping our client's content link-building strategy. On a day-to-day basis, you'll mine data to draw out exciting observations and actionable insights for clients. Week-to-week, you'll prepare comprehensive reports based on critical questions our clients are trying to answer. And over time, you'll codify your methodology and help us produce an analysis that delivers the most value.

    You will have ample opportunity to work cross-functionally with other departments, including Client Success, Search Engine Optimization, Development, and Design. You work well under pressure, find creative solutions, wear multiple hats, and love telling data-driven stories.

    You will:

    • Enjoy numbers and statistics. Think clearly, and systematically work through a problem.
    • Knowledge of data analysis tools. Use Google Docs (sheets) or Microsoft Office (Excel) to an advanced level, and quickly learn analytics tools and survey platforms like Tableau, Data Miner, MTurk, Prolific, etc.
    • Create. Understand how to connect different data sources and strategies to build a complete strategic picture.
    • Communicate. Present data in an understandable way, share it, and explain it to the rest of the team and our clients.
    • Collaborate. Cross functionally with research, creative, design, and SEO to execute Digital PR strategies
    • Innovate. Love what you do, and want to make a difference in your creative industry.

    You should have some or all of the following attributes:

    • Undergraduate degree in marketing, social sciences, or another related field, ideally with a quantitative emphasis on statistics or research methods
    • Minimum of 1-3 years relevant work or internship experience from the agency, client, or vendor side
    • Exposure to specific research methodology including communications, creative and copy development, execution, and effectiveness, brand positioning/strategy, segmentation, as well as quantitative research using surveys and other methods/tools both in-person and online
    • Familiarity with standard quantitative research methods and processes
    • Excellent Google Docs and Microsoft Office skills; especially Sheets (Excel) and Slides (PowerPoint)
    • Solid quantitative, numeric, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
    • Attention to detail with the ability to self-review work
    • Resourceful with a high level of initiative
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to multi-task three to six projects simultaneously
    • The capability to brainstorm and be part of technical and creative teams

    Work Location

    Our office is located in downtown Raleigh, NC. We offer a flexible, hybrid work schedule, so you'll be able to work from home, a coffee shop, or, if you are local to Raleigh, occasionally meet with your team in person at our Raleigh office.

    We are open to remote work in the U.S. (preferably EST) for the right candidate.
