Go Fish Digital is looking for a bright, motivated individual to bolster our team of top-notch online marketers in this entry level position.

We are searching for someone who gets things done quickly and efficiently, but takes pride in producing high-quality, error-free work. The right candidate understands how the web works and is comfortable with Google, Bing and other search engines. Any SEO knowledge and PR or Crisis Communications experience are also beneficial. You'll be happy analyzing search results and clearly communicating valuable insights to your clients. You thrive in a collaborative work environment and are excited to learn from your colleagues.

YOU WILL:

• Spend time analyzing client web presence to identify issues and opportunities
• Enhance your SEO knowledge with the ins and outs of many powerful SEO tools
• Uncover ranking opportunities for clients by manually investigating their web presence along with cross-referencing tools and your own data analysis
• Work in a team setting, leading up reputation management efforts

YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

• An understanding of how social media, websites, and news platforms impact companies' and individuals' web presences
• Experience with WordPress and/or updating websites
• Comfortable looking at and reviewing HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript. (You don't need to write it from scratch, but you must be able to look at it and understand what it is doing.)
• Deeply understand the world of communications, public relations, and news media
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel (and its Google counterpart, Sheets)
• A desire to work with data and be technical
• The ability to turn analysis into a deliverable that a non-technical person can understand
• Strong, clear writing skills
• The capability to work well with a team
• Strong problem solving skills - if you don't know something but a client needs it, you will work with the team to quickly figure it out

WORK LOCATION

Our office is located in downtown Raleigh. We offer a flexible work schedule, so you'll be able to work about 40% remote (home, coffee shop, etc) and 60% in the office with the rest of the team.

While COVID-19 conditions persist, we are working completely remotely. However, under normal conditions this is not a remote position. Should it become safe to return to the office, you'll be asked to work in our downtown Raleigh office with the rest of the team 3 days per week.
